Truck Parking Battery Series
General
What is the battery chemistry?
LiFePO₄ (Lithium Iron Phosphate), known for high safety, long cycle life, and stable performance.
What capacities and voltages are available?
Common models for truck parking applications include 12V 600Ah, 24V 200Ah, and 24V 320Ah, designed to support long idle times and high AC/DC load demands.
What is the IP rating?
Depending on enclosure type, most models are IP54–IP65 for dust and splash resistance. They are not intended for full water immersion.
Can I replace my lead-acid battery directly?
Yes, these models are designed as drop-in replacements for standard truck parking battery banks, with the same nominal voltage and higher usable capacity.
Charging
What charger should I use?
Use a LiFePO₄-compatible charger with CC/CV profile. Cutoff voltage is 14.6V for 12V models and 29.2V for 24V models. Ensure your truck alternator or inverter/charger supports lithium charging.
Can I charge while driving?
Yes. The battery can be charged from the truck alternator if a DC-DC charger is installed to regulate voltage and protect the alternator.
Can I use solar charging?
Yes. A solar charge controller with a LiFePO₄ setting can be used to maintain battery charge during parking.
Usage
What appliances can it power?
Suitable for truck sleeper cab air conditioning, heating, lighting, refrigerator, microwave, CPAP machines, and other 12V/24V DC or 110V/220V AC appliances via an inverter.
How long can it run my appliances?
Runtime depends on appliance wattage. For example, a 24V 320Ah battery (≈8.2kWh) can power a 1kW air conditioner for around 8 hours.
How should I store the battery if not in use for a long time?
Store at 50%-70% charge in a cool, dry place. Turn the battery switch to OFF to prevent parasitic drain and recharge monthly.
Maintenance
Do I need to balance the battery cells manually?
No. The BMS handles cell balancing automatically.
Does temperature affect performance?
Yes. Capacity decreases in cold environments; avoid charging below 0°C unless the battery has a built-in heater.
Safety
Is there built-in protection?
Yes. The BMS provides over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection.
Warranty & Support
How do I get support if I have an issue?
Contact us with the MAC code (printed on the battery label, usually in the format A5:XX:XX:XX:XX) and a photo of the LCD screen (if applicable).
